Ray Conrad, CEO

Ray Conrad
Chief Executive Officer

Ray Conrad is Tahoe Partners’ Chief Executive Officer, primarily focused on the strategy and operations of the Sales and Market Development organization. He is a co-founder of Tahoe Partners.

Ray is a senior executive with over twenty years of consulting and corporate IT experience. Ray’s consulting experience spans business process architecture strategy and design, business process optimization/reengineering, information technology transformation, strategic performance measurement design and implementation, integrated business and information strategic planning, business solution delivery and information systems development and integration. He is a results-oriented professional whose industry experience spans financial services, telecommunications, gas utilities, manufacturing and distribution, retail, publishing and service industries.

Ray has worked in a variety of IT environments with operating budgets in excess of 100 million, centralized and decentralized organizational and process structures, MIS staff resources ranging from 20 to 750 and IT core delivery capabilities ranging from comprehensive in-house through significant outsourcing of delivery capabilities. He has assisted multiple Fortune 500 companies to effectively design and implement business and information technology vision and strategy, IT transformation, strategic business solutions business process reengineering and process improvement, organizational change management and large-scale systems integration.

Throughout his career Ray has continually progressed to more senior client-facing positions within the information technology consulting industry divine, Inc. - Senior Vice President Client Development, marchFIRST - Vice President Client Services, Whittman-Hart - Partner, Organizational Change Dynamics -Partner, Computer Sciences Corporation - Principal, KPMG Nolan Norton - Senior Manager. Ray has a B.S. degree from Illinois State University.

Ralph Keipert

Ralph Keipert
President

Ralph Keipert is President and co-founder of Tahoe Partners. He is primarily focused on developing the strategy for the firm’s solutions and managing consulting services operations. Ralph has over seventeen years of experience growing and managing consulting firms. During this span, he has helped both global and mid-market clients develop actionable, high ROI strategies and implement high impact enterprise solutions.

Prior to Tahoe Partners, Ralph served as Vice President of Client Services with divine, Inc., marchFIRST and Whittman-Hart. In this role, Ralph had responsibility for the Financial Services, Insurance, and Healthcare industry segments. Leading a sales and client services team, Ralph grew the client portfolio to over $50M in annual revenues. During this time, he also served on Chicago's Mayor's Council of Technology Advisers Education Subcommittee which focused on developing a technology literate workforce throughout Chicago.

Ralph was a co-founder of Katabat, an online real estate services provider that was successfully sold after several years of standalone operation to Dominion Enterprises, a leading marketing services company serving the wide ranging needs of many industries including real estate.

Previously, Ralph was a Consulting Manager in Accenture's Financial Services and Insurance market unit where he focused on delivering successful business and technology solutions to Fortune 100 clients in the Insurance industry.

Ralph has a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Iowa.

Mike Berent, COO

Mike Berent
Chief Operating Officer

Mike Berent, Chief Operating Officer, manages day-to-day operations and is responsible for quality of client service and expansion in new markets. With more than 25 years of management consulting, Mike’s expertise spans the areas of operational strategy, mergers and acquisitions, technology mix/spend optimization, organizational restructuring, and product lifecycle management. He has served many industries, including aerospace and defense, pharmaceutical/biotech, consumer goods and retail, private equity, and public sector organizations.

Mike joined Tahoe Partners after serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UHY Advisors, USA. UHY Advisors is the nation’s 14th largest Auditing, Tax and Consulting firm.  Previously in his career, Mike was a Partner with Ernst & Young LLP where he led various enterprise transformation engagements for a considerable number of Fortune 500 automotive, electronic, and pharmaceutical and consumer products companies.  Throughout his career Mike has focused on working with clients to make the best use of their limited resources to achieve their organizational performance goals.

 

Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from Boston College and holds CPIM certification with the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).

Bob Carpenter

Bob Carpenter
Chief Financial Officer

Bob Carpenter is Tahoe Partners’ Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for firm wide financial operations and general administration.

Bob is a senior executive and C.P.A with over twenty years of finance and consulting experience. Throughout his career, Bob has helped clients improve operational and financial performance through financial process reengineering, activity based management, financial systems implementation, Sarbanes-Oxley assessment and compliance and effective program management.

 

Prior to joining Tahoe Partners, Bob served as Director of Operations for Apex Innovations, responsible for managing all client relationships for this software and services firm focused on program management solutions for government. He was also a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young where he focused on strategic technology solutions to improve financial processes in the firm’s Telecom & Media practice. Bob also served as program director for IXL, Inc responsible for managing a team of 75 professionals in the multi year web site redesign for the firm’s largest client. Additionally, he served as Director of Operations for marchFIRST/Whittman-Hart’s Atlanta office with responsibility for all business operations.

 

Bob has a BA from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Russell Maloney
Managing Director of Sales

Russell Maloney is Tahoe Partners’ Managing Director of Sales and a co-founder of the organization. He is responsible for the management and leadership of the organization’s inside and field sales force.

Russell is a senior business development executive with over fifteen years of experience. He has a proven track record of satisfied client customers. Russell has a commitment to building and maintaining customer and partner relationships. He has many repeat customers and is focused on working with clients to ensure that their projects meet or exceed expectations. Russell’s history of client satisfaction is demonstrated through his personal sales track record of consistently exceeding quotas and continuing client relationships.

 

Russell has experience helping clients create a range of solutions. He regularly works with "C" level executives on a broad array of solutions. He started his career working in financial services as a Senior Analyst with Harris Bank.  Prior to Tahoe Partners Russell worked at the Whittman-Hart/marchFIRST/divine organization as a Business Development Executive. Russell has assisted clients in a variety of industries including: manufacturing, health care, direct marketing and ecommerce.

 

Russell has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign.
